| I will be replacing my brake master cylinder this weekend, and have read a few different methods for bench bleeding before install. I wanted to gather some opinions on which method any of you have found to work the best: Option 1: Appropriately sized nipple adapters and a length of vinyl tubing routed back into the master cylinder, fill with fluid, then work the piston back and forth to evacuate the air (as per Robo's webpage). Option 2: Simply fill the master cylinder with fluid, leave the plastic plugs in, and rock or tilt back and forth until all the air bubbles work their way out. I am leaning toward option 1, but if option 2 works just as well (albeit a bit more time consuming, im sure) and saves me a few bucks and another trip to the auto parts store I might go that route instead. Or any other suggestions anyone has would be appreciated.
